Job Details:

Job Title: Sterile Processing Tech (SPT) Surgical Services

Location: Charleston, SC

Setting: Hospital

Pay Range: 1045.76 - 1098.05

Schedule: 19:00 - 07:30

Contract Length: 13 weeks.

Candidate Type: Traveler

Requirements: 2 years experience. Sterilization, Decontaminate and assembly/wrap SPT experience. CBSPD and/or HSPA certification. Level 1 Trauma experience required. National Certs REQ: CBSPD and/or HSPA.

Responsibilities:

• Perform sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrap processes for surgical instruments.
• Ensure proper sterilization procedures are followed according to facility protocols.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including potential coverage at sister facilities.
• Adapt to various case types such as Neuro, GU, Robotics, ENT, Ortho, Transplant, GYN.
• Maintain compliance with infection control standards and document processes accurately.
